Can I sit and blog tonight? That is the question running through my head with a side of 1,000 other thoughts. But I do have one small thought to share. This past weekend I took a hiatus from basically all forms of media and humans in general. You know, sometimes a girl has just got to get away and detach from the so called "smart phone." More on this little adventure later, but for now I want to talk about how many creative ideas came to me as I was driving back home. As in so so many ideas, I am not sure I will remember what my Siri assisted driving notes will mean when I try to go back and write all this content.
You may be asking where is all the inspiration coming from, other than my typical overflow stream of random ideas, unfinished art projects and half written flow sequences. Feel the Vata creative energy here. Currently I am slightly addicted to podcast; I mean it is all in the name of research... right? (Spoiler alert: I am working with my second job to create a podcast. Stay tuned on its debut and me trying out my radio voice.) But back to my point, being on the open road in my 50 cents pink sunglasses, listening to back to back to back podcast, chalked full of inspiring people just out there doing their thing. And being open enough to talk about it.
While I did take a break from all media this weekend, I did allow for listening to previously downloaded pods while driving. The reason for this: I am simply amazed at all the free wisdom to glean by just listening. Some of these podcast I will reference in later blogs, but for now the message is simple: Podcast... that is where it is at! I challenge you to download one or two and listen the next time you are on the open road. You may be surprised at what you take away from it or how your perspective can shift. And of course when my podcast comes out listen to it too. Duh! (Shameless plug- I know.) Pink sunglasses optional.
If you have gotten this far and scratching your head about Vata energy part of the title, it's really a teaser as to what is to come. I have been digging deep into Ayurveda and working on a mini workshop for the studio.
I can't wait to discuss it all in upcoming posts!
